Easily Convertible Between Standard & All Terrain Wheelchair
AdvenChair is the only all-terrain wheelchair design that is convertible between a standard wheelchair, and an all-terrain wheelchair (patent pending). This convertible design allows for enormous flexibility when traveling in the chair to the trailhead, then into buildings for après hiking celebrations, and into lodging to rest up for your next adventure (or AdvenChair as we like to say!).
When in wheelchair mode:

AdvenChair’s 31” maximum width allows it to navigate through 32” doors into a variety of buildings, restaurants and restrooms.

You can easily navigate through parking lots (gravel or paved) and down walkways until you’re ready to hit the trail.
When in all-terrain mode:

In All-Terrain Mode, AdvenChair is an adventure trekking wheelchair capable of going backpacking with your team of friends and family. AdvenChair can handle anything from difficult urban settings and stairs to difficult rocky trails, mud, snow, and everything between.

Travel: Planes, Trains and Automobiles!
AdvenChair is ideally suited for traveling anywhere, whether by land, sea, or air. Since only one wheelchair is needed, you can take AdvenChair to wherever your dreams take you while traveling light.
AdvenChair is designed to be easily disassembled into a compact size that can fit in the back of a small hatchback trunk. The main wheels can be removed or installed in just a couple of minutes. Or if your vehicle is equipped properly, travel in the AdvenChair in Wheelchair mode to your destination. If flying to your destination, Advenchair will stow easily in the cargo bay of the aircraft.

Wide Range of Use: Urban to Wilderness

Urban use:

In “Wheelchair Mode”, AdvenChair easily cruises down sidewalks, across streets, over curbs, and through doors. Yet at just 31” at its widest point, it goes where few all-terrain wheelchairs can go. Through doors.

This opens up a vast array of urban destinations, including restrooms, shops, visitor centers, and museums, restaurants and lounges for après hiking activities; and into lodging to rest up for the next day’s activities.

AdvenChair's upright seating position allows the rider to sit at tables to eat, drink and celebrate life, while easily tackling difficult urban settings, such as potholes, gravel paths and roads, curbs and stairs. Just install the front wheel when needed and pull and push like you're on a hike.
Backcountry use:

In All-Terrain Mode, AdvenChair will take on moderate trails common in local, state, and national parks with a small team of 2-4 people, including the rider.

With a slightly larger crew of family and friends and our optional towing package, AdvenChair can also handle difficult (black diamond) to extremely difficult (double black diamond) trails.

With its large-diameter wheels and fat, low-pressure tires, AdvenChair easily manages sand, snow and mud.

AdvenChair can take you day hiking into rugged country or backpacking for overnight adventures. The only limitation is how adventurous you want to be, what sort of team you can muster up, and your imagination.
Lifetime Wheelchair
Unlike most of its competitors, AdvenChair offers an adjustable platform that can grow with a child through adulthood, allowing it to provide a lifetime of adventures.
The AdvenChair comes in one standard frame size but four seat sizes in the new fiberglass seating system: Small(12”), Medium(14”), Large (16"), and Extra Large(18")wide and will carry up to 250 lbs. Children can grow with an AdvenChair simply by graduating to a larger seat, rather than buying a whole new chair, greatly extending the investment. These various seat sizes in combination with the adjustability of seat and footrest positions enable AdvenChair to be reconfigured in multiple ways as necessary.
This multi-faceted adjustability also makes AdvenChair ideal for a variety of adaptive sports facilities or camp operators that serve riders in all shapes and sizes. One AdvenChair can fit numerous body sizes with a few easy adjustments.
